Why were the bees asking me to lead a ceremony for them?
Several days before the ceremony, I was intuitively informed that the Bee Nation wanted a death ceremony or an honoring for the bees that had passed over. What a beautiful gesture to bring community together to offer love and support to honey bees.
A group of women gathered with me in Portland, Oregon. As we opened to the energy of the Bees, the space became a living temple as sweet, Venusian energy streamed in from Source. The energy was sublime like deliciously palatable thick honey. I felt like a Goddess incarnate. My heart glowed like a gentle, sweet, sun. We shared bee stories and concerns. We honored bees for their loss. We offered gratitude, praise, and appreciation to the bees.
Our beautiful altar of rose quartz crystals, flowers, and sacred gold items was a sacred space to make offerings to open up magic. Our love, healing songs, and presence in beauty was meant to be a healing balm for the honey bees. We called in the ancestors of the Bee Nation. We called in our own ancestors. Our intention was to honor bees and give back… what occurred was a powerful healing for bees, Mother Earth, and every woman present.
The ceremony began with a sense that each one of us became a Venusian Bee Goddess as we felt the energy of unseen honey bees buzzed around our circle. Buzzing vibrations shifted our awareness. We became the hive. The spirit of the bees was honored and recognized for their life, gifts, purpose. We sang the death song. The energy got heavy as the bee spirits were gathered to be ushered into the light. As they were taken off planet in a swoosh of energy, the room lightened and filled with grace.
And then I saw her. I saw a large etheric Queen Bee. She was beautiful and powerful. And, she began visiting everyone in the circle to offer healing. Then, I saw her “sting” each person in specific places on their body where energy was stuck and needed release. Old emotional energy and trauma moved on. The way the Queen was using her stinger reminded me of an acupuncture needle. The Queen initiated and honored each woman as a Queen Bee.
Afterwards, one woman shared that she saw live bees helping dead bees move off the ground so they could move up and out to the light. A swarm of bees lifted the dead bees up and out into the cosmos. Several women described that they felt numerous bee stings in their bodies in certain places—like they received an acupuncture treatment. The spirit of the bees was offering medicine. What a profound gift. Our gratitude brought sweet tears to our eyes.
We were taught how to use our own “lightning medicine”—our bee stinger. We claimed our “stinger” like we are a bee. It can strike through illusion to Truth. Truth to power. Not only is the bee stinger an instrument of healing, it was a call to power. The Queen Bee told us that awareness of our stinger—lightning medicine—will heighten our sense of power. Our tool can activate, stimulate, reform, and release. It carries sweet power of the Solar Goddess and can awaken the solar feminine fire of our inner-Queen Bee.
