Since I heard about Fox Fairies from Marshall “Golden Eagle” Jack, I’ve longed to experience them.
I’ve always loved red foxes and had a small figurine of one when I was a child.
Paiute Elders and Grandmothers of Marshall’s tribe talk to the Fox Fairies when they go into the forests of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to find out how everyone is doing… the trees, waters, fairies, and little people.
Fox Fairies are a bridge to communicate more easily with the Fairy Realms in a location.
After hearing about them, I longed to know more.
I painted this picture of what I imagined them to look like.
That was 10 or more years ago.
This weekend, I attended and presented at the Gaia Congress (an online Fairy Congress event) and facilitated Marshall as a guest presenter for stories and songs of Bigfoot.
During the event, I had a beautiful experience of healing (especially for my inner-child) during a guided meditative journey led by Lindsey in the morning circle.
In one inner-journey, my inner-child, Cammy, was lead into a forest to see a secret.
The secret: I saw Foxes dancing, singing, and playing instruments with lots of merriment.
Wow! I was thrilled! Foxes celebrate when the humans aren’t looking!
My very vivid vision reminded me how much stronger my intuitive experiences can be when I am seeing through the eyes of wonder and innocence.
In a second journey, I was guided back into the forest once again.
Again, I saw a circle of celebrating foxes—Fox Fairies?
This time the circle opened a bit more to reveal a doorway. I was invited into the center of the circle where a Tea Party was happening with the Fairy King and Fairy Queen. I sat and drank tea with the Fay and all the beings of the forest. What fun!
My magical experiences reminded me of ways we can facilitate connection, communication, and magical delight with Nature by entering into joy, wonder, and innocence of our child-like selves.
We can call upon the Fox Fairies to help us align ourselves with the Fairy Realms.
And, when we follow our longings (the Fox Fairies for me) we may just find where we belong.
I belong in the Fairy Realms, and I am here to anchor the magic back on Gaia Mother Earth.
