Vulnerability in a Book

In my new book, I write about my very first psychic reading many years ago.

Don told me I was hiding.

And, he saw herbs and writing as key parts of my life.

I have outgrown my tendency to hide… mostly. 

For self-care, I take a lot of solo time as an introvert, empath, and super sensitive to re-charge.

My astrological chart shows a pile up in the 4^th house (family, roots, ancestors). All planets were below the horizon when I was born except my Moon—shining fully in Taurus in my career house (10^th)!

Yup, lots of hidden planets except my Earth Mother full moon grounding my Lovely-hood (livelihood that I love).

This book is my third one! One was on flower essences. I can hardly believe it.

And yet, as I get ready to sign-off on my book’s proof copy,

I feel

well, Exposed!

In its pages, I share deep experiences of growing up, being a Nature Girl, and my longtime magical journeys, adventures and times playing in Nature, nurturing the lands, and feeling the waters. I also share rituals for others to connect with these loved ones.

I lend my voice to 44 sacred spirits of Gaia.

Writing is always a cathartic experience for me.

In all, it probably took me more than 35 years of dancing on the earth with the fairies, plants, trees, elementals, dragons, and more to gather the experience, wisdom, and confident to share my stories.

And, yet after all I have lived, I still feel vulnerable.

I believe my genius—that part of me that came to earth to Bee and Do is about going deep into exploring the scary, hidden, unclaimed, and magical-beyond-understanding aspects of myself in relationship to Nature.

If I felt overly comfortable moving forward, I may not be allowing my fullest blossoming… beyond the comfortable. 

I embrace my journey and my vulnerability.
