In order to celebrate and offer our spiritual and energetic gifts, we need to be fully anchored—grounded and fully present in our bodies. For over 20 years, I’ve taught healing clients and students how to ground and connect with their energy body more fully.
I guide them to actively visualize connecting their energy into Mother Earth’s core, creating grounding cords, sending roots from each foot down into the earth, and activating the Tree-of-Life in their body.
This aspect of energy work cultivates an energetic connection and/or spiritual relationship with Mother Earth.
It works well.
Lots of breakthroughs happen with these simple techniques.
After a healthy, beautiful pattern of energetic flow is re-established, it is time to allow earth energy to flow gently, without effort, up these roots, cords, energetic patterns back into the body.
Imagine nourishing your pelvic area with loving energy from nature.
Receiving earth energy is how we energize and heal our physical body of all sorts of issues.
This re-connection with Mother Earth can even take the form of re-connection with the spirit of nature, with our roots and ancestors, with our place or purpose here on earth, with our sexuality, and with our sense of peace and belonging.
It is the same experience when you take a walk in a forest and let the energy of the trees rise up in our body. Afterwards, we feel full, clear, and happier.
Yet for many, receiving is the most challenging part.
Receiving is passive. It is a form of surrendering.
Receptivity is not something modeled in a healthy way in our culture.
Receiving goes against what we were taught to believe under a patriarchal society. There is a lot of judgement about being lazy, non-productive, selfish that may keep us from giving ourselves permission to fully receive.
Yet, the most powerful thing we can offer our bodies and our souls is to open to more receiving. This is how we are nourished and fed.
Receiving is half of reciprocity.
There would be no loop of infinity without receiving. No abundance. We need to give and receive. Be active and passive. Breath in and out. Claim our abundant birthright.
The evolutionary ascension transition on Mother Earth is all about receiving more. Allowing in more light and higher energy frequencies into the body to transform our body and enlighten our soul.
To be fully in our body as a grounded multidimensional being, we must open to receiving, integrating, digesting, assimilating, and being nourished and fed.
Allowing earth energy to rise up and mix with the energy of heaven in our body, is how we create a new earth.
