I love to offer simple joyful community circles that not only feed and energize the water elementals and thus the water itself, it is also a way for us to receive healing and emotional heart connection with our divine feminine feeling nature and deeper mysteries within our body and womb (or hara for men).
Also, water ceremony opens our connection with water fairies, elementals, and mermaids. These beings are available to help us cope with stress, heal emotional issues, and manifest our dreams.
This morning, the mermaids and spirits of water came to me in my shower with blissful blessings for my day. As I aligned with water, I felt the spirit bring healing, soothing, calming, and delightful energy to my body and soul. AHHHH! I needed that.
Soothing water is good medicine for us right now. When the fire of the Sun reflects off water, the spirit of water is further activated.
Create Your Own Water Ceremony
To create your own blessing circle, sing this beautiful song. You can learn the NIBI WABO Water Song here through Vimeo and see the beauty of this practice. The way I learned the song, we beat two white birch sticks together as sang to each direction: NORTH, EAST, SOUTH, WEST. Then to the Earth BELOW, Heaven ABOVE, and SELF within. Sing it seven times as you beat the sticks.
If you don’t have birch growing near you, choose sticks on your lands. My friend carved me Willow sticks for NIBI WABO singing.
When I sing, I love to connect with all the difference spirits of water include elemental undines, mermaids, selkies, water fairies, Devas, dolphins, whales, salmon. To connect simply think about them with intention to connect in love. I also love to sing other songs, make up songs, chant, use singing bowls, drums, or any sounds to harmonize the frequencies of the waters, and emotions, within myself and in the bodies of waters we are blessing.
Most of all have fun! That is what the mermaids wish for us most. And, remember to release and say “Good Bye” to any water being you called in to join you so they don’ts swim home with you afterwards. (:
